Notice of Weed Control Starting May 9, 2023
As per the City of Castlegar Pest Management Program, the City will be undertaking weed control starting May 9, 2023 at the following areas:
- Traffic islands
- City sidewalks
- City owned parking lots
Areas will be treated anytime on or after May 9, 2023, weather permitting.
Weed control in these areas will be completed with a product called Mungers Horticultural Vinegar (acetic acid). No signage will be placed on treated areas. This work will be ongoing for approximately one (1) month.
