Cultural Scan

In an effort to highlight, promote and elevate Castlegar’s cultural, arts and heritage communities, the Castlegar Cultural Scan initiative was established.

Led by the Castlegar Arts Council and supported by the City and the ArtsNow Creative Communities Program, this the Cultural Scan aims to profile and detail the contributions of the arts, heritage and cultural communities to the social, cultural and economic fabric of Castlegar.

It is a first step in developing a comprehensive Cultural Plan for the City of Castlegar and a Vision Statement that will not only support and conserve the already diverse arts community, but also elevate it for years to come.
