2021 Annual Report for Public Review
The City of Castlegar’s 2021 Annual Report is now available for public review and comment.
The Annual Report includes:
- 2021 Audited Financial Statements
- Messages from the Mayor, Chief Administrative Officer & Chief Financial Officer
- A progress report on strategic objectives & accomplishments
- Key facts & highlights
- 2022 priorities
The report can be viewed online here or in person at City Hall (located at 460 Columbia Avenue), 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday. Residents are encouraged to share feedback or comments before June 27, 2022 to ooladele@castlegar.ca or by calling 250.365.7227.
Pursuant to Section 99 of the Community Charter, Council will consider the 2021 Annual Report at its June 27 Regular Council Meeting at 7 p.m. Residents can participate in-person at City Council Chambers (located at 445 13th Avenue), online via Zoom, or via telephone.
The City of Castlegar is a service centre in the West Kootenay. The diversified and growing economy is focused on the forestry, energy and mining sectors in the valley, and commercial services in the City. Quality of life features backcountry adventure and an increasingly dynamic urban culture, including the Millennium Park & Ponds and Sculpture Walk.
