Federal Holiday - Mourning the Death of Queen Elizabeth II

The City of Castlegar will recognize the federal holiday on Monday, September 19 to mark the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

The holiday was announced earlier today by the Government of Canada. As a result, City Hall will be closed on Monday, September 19 and City Council meetings scheduled for Monday, September 19 have been rescheduled to Tuesday, September 20.

The agenda for the rescheduled meetings will be posted on Friday, September 16 on the City’s website at castlegar.ca.
