July 1, 2021 Fireworks Display Cancelled

The City of Castlegar regrets to inform residents that the fireworks display scheduled for July 1, 2021 has been cancelled due to the announcement yesterday from the South East Fire Centre that Category 2 and 3 burning restrictions are now in place, which includes fireworks.

Alternative dates and opportunities for a fireworks display may be explored once the burning restrictions have been rescinded. We will keep the Community informed as we progress through the summer.
