NOTICE OF WEED CONTROL AT BALL DIRT INFIELDS

As per the City of Castlegar Pest Management Program, the City is planning on treating weeds and vegetation at the following ball dirt infields:

• KMS fields - May 20, 2023
• Complex - May 26, 2023

Sports field user groups will be given advance notice of treatment prior to application. Weed control in these areas will be completed with a product called Roundup Weathermax (glyphosate).

Signage will be placed on these sites and remain in place once applied, as treated areas should be avoided for 48 hours after treatment.
