SNOW BUSTER AWARD NOMINEES
The City received many nominations this year for the annual Snow Buster Award. Thank you to everyone who helped out a neighbor or other resident by clearing snow for them! The award will be presented to the lucky winner at the April 3rd regular Council Meeting at 7:00pm at the Community Forum, #100, 445 13 Avenue

Many Castlegar residents find it a challenge keeping their sidewalks free of snow and ice – particularly seniors or neighbours with a disability.
The City of Castlegar’s Snow Buster program is about acknowledging individuals that help out in the community by clearing snow for others without being asked or expecting thanks.
Most residents live within steps of a senior or a neighbour with a disability, and in many cases someone is already providing a helping hand.
The City of Castlegar would like to hear from you about the snow-busting residents that go above and beyond for their neighbours. One nominee will be chosen to receive the annual Snow Buster award and price of $250.00!
