Weed Control

As per the City of Castlegar Pest Management Program, the City will be undertaking weed control starting July 13, 2018 at the following areas: 

- All traffic islands; 
- All City sidewalks; 
- All City-owned parking lots

Areas will be treated anytime on or after July 13, 2018, weather permitting. 

Weed control in these areas will be completed with a product called Mungers Horticultural Vinegar (acetic acid). No signage will be placed on treated areas. This work will be ongoing for approximately one (1) month.
