NOTICE OF WEED CONTROL

As per the City of Castlegar Pest Management Program, the City is planning on treating weeds and vegetation at the following areas around Castlegar starting the week of May 7, 2018 (weather permitting) at the following areas: 

• Sewchuk Park 
• Robson Interchange 
• RCMP Grounds 
• City Hall Grounds 
• Millennium Park including sports fields (fence line) 
• Zinio Park 
• Kinnaird Park (fence line) 
• KMS field (fence line) 
• Complex (fence line) 
• 9th Ave Park 
• Tamerlane Park 
• Conehill Park 
• Blueberry Park (fence line) 
• Brandson (Mushroom) Park 
• Hwy 3 Interchange 
• Castlegar Cemetery 
• 34th & Columbia Boulevard 
• Firehall Grounds 
• 6th Ave Boulevard (in front of Community Complex & Theatre) 
• Woodland Triangle Boulevard @ Pinewood Drive 
• Columbia Ave. Boulevard at the Pioneer Arena 

Sports field user groups will be given advance notice of treatment prior to application.

Signage will be placed on these sites and in place once applied, and for two (2) days after treatment.
