Zion Trucking/Recycle BC Depot Update

Zion Trucking, Recycle BC's recycling depot that recycled glass, plastic and foam packaging,  decided not to renew their agreement and has closed their depot in Castlegar last fall.

Recycle BC is in the process of negotiating an agreement with the RDCK to open a new depot at the Ootischenia landfill in the fall of 2019 but have not confirmed an opening date.  The City will update this notice once that opening is known.

In the meantime, the Trail Bottle Depot does accept glass, plastic and foam packaging at it's depot.  For more information and hours of operations please see https://return-it.ca/locations/trail-bottle-depot/
