The City of Castlegar’s source water derives from the Arrow Lake, a water source of historically high quality and abundant supply.
Sewer
The City of Castlegar operates a community sanitary sewer collection system with two wastewater treatment plants: the South Sewage Treatment Plant (SSTP) and the North Sewage Treatment Plant (NSTP) lagoons.
Utility Rates
The City of Castlegar bills for water, sewer and curbside pickup (garbage, organics and recycling) services on a quarterly basis.
