Organizational Plan (2026-2028)
The City of Castlegar’s Organizational Plan sets out how the organization will strengthen its people, culture, and internal systems to deliver best-in-class services to the community.
The plan is organized around six strategic pillars – Leadership, People, Health & Safety, Planning, Community, and Systems, Processes & Technology – which guide how the City attracts and supports staff, plans and delivers work, and continuously improves operations.
The Organizational Plan is closely aligned with Council’s Strategic Plan and supports Council’s commitment to Governance and Service Excellence.
The Organizational Plan is a living document and will be reviewed regularly to ensure priorities remain relevant, achievable, and responsive to the needs of the organization and the community.
