The Province has commissioned digital designs free to the public that can be used by builders, designers and homeowners.
Development Services
Standardized, customizable residential designs and companion catalogue are available from the Province for accessory dwellings and small-scale, multi-unit housing on lots zoned R-1 to R-3 and some commercial zones. The digital designs are free to the public and can be used by builders, designers, and homeowners to build accessory dwellings, duplexes, triplexes, quadplexes, and townhomes.

Read the Catalogue & Costing Estimate
The Standardized Design Catalogue contains illustrations and describes the designs in more detail.
A Class D costing estimate, produced by a third party, provides general costing assumptions and estimates which can help people price out their project.
