Bylaws
The BC Government authorizes jurisdictions like the City of Castlegar to create and enforce bylaws to maintain community safety, health, and sustainability.
Commonly referenced Bylaws are listed below alphabetically. If you have questions regarding a specific Bylaw or are unable to locate the information you are looking for, please contact Corporate Services at 250-365-7227.
For convenience, the most frequently used Bylaws have been consolidated. In a consolidated Bylaw, the original Bylaw (or “parent” Bylaw) is updated to include all of the amendments to that Bylaw.
