Request a Tax Certificate
A Tax Certificate provides property-specific information including owner name, legal description and address, current assessment, and tax balances.
Tax Certificates are conveniently available for purchase online through the Land Title and Survey Authority of British Columbia (LTSA) or Access Point Information Canada (APIC). They can also be requested at City Hall.

Tax Certificates purchased through the Land Title and Survey Authority of British Columbia use your bank account for payment. If you have an LTSA account, log in to myLTSA at https://apps.ltsa.ca/iam/login and select Service Providers then Order Tax Certificates from the main menu.
Visit the LTSA website to learn more about myLTSA and how to become a customer.

If you prefer to pay for the Tax Certificate by credit card, visit APIC’s Tax Certificates Online (TCOL) service at https://apicanada.com/tcol/.
City Hall
Property owners can also request a tax certificate by visiting the Financial Services department at City Hall.
Note: The City of Castlegar cannot provide Tax Certificate information over the phone.
