Downtown Revitalization

Castlegar’s Downtown Revitalization Plan provides the framework for re-imagining future land use and urban design in downtown Castlegar.

The Plan outlines an approach toward improving how residents, business owners, and visitors experience the City’s downtown.

The Plan has been incorporated into the City’s Community Plan 2033 and Zoning Bylaw, and design elements have been included into the City’s Downtown Mixed-Use Development Permit Area Guidelines.
