Notice of Weed Control
As per the City of Castlegar Pest Management Program, the City will be undertaking weed control starting July 22, 2024 at the following areas:
- Traffic islands;
- City sidewalks; and
- City owned parking lots.
Areas will be treated anytime on or after July 22, 2024, weather permitting.
Weed control in these areas will be completed with a product called Mungers Horticultural Vinegar (acetic acid). No signage will be placed on treated areas. This work will be ongoing for approximately one (1) month.
