Canada Day Celebration – Millennium Park & Ponds

Celebrate Canada Day with the City of Castlegar at Millennium Park & Ponds!

This free, family-friendly event kicks off with the singing of O Canada, followed by entertainment, activities, games, and treats for all ages.

• Free hot dogs, while supplies last
• Canada Day cupcakes

• Canada Day tattoos, stickers, flags, and other fun goodies for kids
• Adult-friendly games
• A special Canada Day chalk art piece created by local artist Peter Vogelaar
• Chalk available for kids to create their own sidewalk masterpieces

Whether you come for the music, kids’ activities, games, or just a hot dog in the park, Canada Day in Castlegar is a chance to enjoy the day together as a community.

The City is looking for volunteers to help support the event, including setup, activities, and takedown.
