Davidson Brook Wildfire No Longer Burning
The Davidson Brook wildfire is now out.
The Castlegar Fire Department would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who supported its efforts to contain the wildfire and keep the community safe, with special thanks to the BC Wildfire Service, Southeast Fire Centre, and Robson and Ootischenia Fire Departments. It would also like to thank the community and local businesses for donations of cold drinks and food.
The Davidson Brook wildfire, west of the 1100 block of Columbia Avenue in Castlegar, was first reported on Saturday, August 5.
