Notice of Weed Control – Hard Surfaces & Sidewalks Starting May 3, 2024

As per the City of Castlegar Integrated Pest Management Plan, the City will be undertaking weed control starting May 3, 2024 at the following areas:

Traffic islands
City sidewalks
City owned parking lots

Areas will be treated anytime on or after May 3, 2024 weather permitting.

Weed control in these areas will be completed with a product called Mungers Horticultural Vinegar (acetic acid). No signage will be placed on treated areas.
