2025 Tax Sale Cancelled
The City of Castlegar is pleased to advise that all delinquent taxes have been paid, and as a result, the City will not be holding a tax sale this year.
Pursuant to the Community Charter and the Local Government Act, the City published notice of the time and place of the 2025 tax sale along with the legal description and street address of properties subject to sale.
Tax sales are typically held on the last Monday of September at 10:00 a.m. in municipalities across British Columbia. The City’s 2025 tax sale was scheduled for Monday, September 29, but since all outstanding taxes have now been paid, it is no longer required.
