RESCINDED: Water Quality Advisory
Please be advised that the Water Quality Advisory issued on April 14, 2026, has been rescinded.
The City of Castlegar has confirmed that the backup water supply operated successfully. After the Arrow Lakes water source was returned to service, follow‑up water quality testing was completed. Test results confirm the system is operating as expected and has returned to normal operations. Water is safe to use.
City of Castlegar residents are reminded that all emergency communications, including community-wide water notifications, are distributed through Voyent Alert!
